A set of 17 loose leaves of original botanical watercolours depicting the wild flowers of Sekhukhuneland drawn in the late 50's by an unknown artist AlexPlantenia. The watercolours are in very good condition and are well drawn. There are pencil annotations for some of them.
In an accompanying letter to Dr Schelpe, to whom she has sent the drawings for evaluation, she explains that she has no botanical training apart from the 6 month course for medical students, and does not know what many of the flowers are called.
