'Pages 21-59 are devoted to an account of British Rule at the Cape, 1806-1875, together with a chapter dealing with the Zulu Kaffirs, the great "trekking" of the Boers, and the rise of Natal. There is also an article entitled "Great Britain in South, Central, and East Africa, 1875-1898," affording a short history of South Africa up to 1896.
