Softcover, 49pp.

Political cartoons with Field Marshall Jan Smuts being the main target because of his policies during WWII. In one cartoon Smuts is portrayed as a father drinking at a bar with Churchill as the barman. His son (South Africa) is dressed in rags and begs him "Father, please come home". In another cartoon Smuts is depicted as a fox tied to a stick and being carried away by devils, with Stalin leading the party from the front and with the trap of communism held over his shoulder. Smuts is in turn depicted as either Churchill's boot shiner, handyman, puppet, or as an old goat, with his head sticking through the bars of his enclosure, chewing on an old piece of clothing representing British praise.

A very early collection of political cartoons by legendary S.A. cartoonist T. O. Honiball who is remembered for creating the beloved characters Oom Kaspaas and Adoons the baboon.
