A 228 pp. cyclostyled history of the Company from its creation until the death of Cecil Rhodes. Accompanied by a letter from the British South Africa Company Management Services Ltd. in London, dated 3rd. July 1964 addressed to a Miss Whitty of The Priory, Marlborough; saying that the directors have decided not to publish Colonel Ferris\'s History until it can be brought up to date and this has got to wait until a solution has been found of the mineral rights question, however a number of copies have been prepared for use by senior officials and having one or two to spare the directors have authorised me to send you one with their compliments. Included is a programme for the Laying of the Corner-Stone of the new Charter House, Salisbury on 24th. April 1956, the typed speech of C. Hely-Hutchinson on that occasion, 2 newspaper cuttings. A letter from The Rt. Hon. Michael Ancram Q.C. M.P. on House of Commons notepaper to Yvonne (Miss Whitty ?) returning the book to her.
