Blue cloth back and boards with the remnants of a paper label on the upper cover – the cloth back is worn and dull, the board rubbed.
Records Livingston’s service mainly, on Anson aircraft, first as a wireless operator and later as an air (tail) gunner. Also includes a record of his training. Records bombing raids on numerous targets in Italy including The Gothic Line; gun emplacements west of Pesaro, enemy strong points near Rimini; Road on Groviso marshalling yards N. Italy (no flak. Spitfire escort. 6 x 500; 4 x 250. Apple.) and anti-flak kite. Bombed gun positions for formation. Result “apple” . Slightly clueless flak “clusters”.
