The first UK edition of this important collection of short stories first published in 1955 in the US with the title "A Good Man is Hard to Find" and so effectively the first edition with this title. In the original red cloth. The corners are lightly bumped and there is a small bookseller's label at the base of the front pastedown, otherwise this is a fine unmarked copy in a very good unclipped dustwrapper which a 1cm. square defect/hole at the lower fore edge of the front panel and light edge wear at the top of the spine with a small internal archival tape reinforcement, but is otherwise bright and attractive.
