A " Department Z " Adventure. First edition inscribed by Creasey on the title page "For President Gordon/ who 'chaired' me at a/ most enjoyable meeting on/ Nov. 7th 1950/ John Creasey". Slight lean to the spine and two small light stains to the front free endpaper, otherwise a very good, clean, unmarked copy in the original maroon cloth, in a good only unclipped dustwrapper which is missing a piece about 3-4cms. at the top of the spine and is in a Brodart protective sleeve.
