How it works

Register

A wide ranging work representing the author’s sporting trips abroad. He bagged lion near the Pungwe River in South Africa, then proceeded on an extended hunting trip to British East Africa where he successfully hunted buffalo, lion and eland. He also hunted caribou in Newfoundland; moose, grizzly bear, Stone sheep, and Dall Sheep in Alaska and British Columbia; and fished for tarpon and shark near Boca Grande, as well as other sporting adventures. Original brick red cloth with gilt moose vignette and gilt titles a bit dulled but legible. Well illustrated with photo plates. Small snag to corner of the rear board. Original endpapers firm and tight. Contents with light occasional foxing but tight.
