How it works

Register

This is the first edition second issue with plain white endpapers (Gilbert A13a(1.6) which is considerably less common than the usual patterned green and white endpapers. This issue also has bronze lettering on the spine - also somewhat scarcer than the usual gold lettering.

A very good copy. A bookseller's label at the base of the front pastedown has come adrift and is no longer present, leaving a stain with very slight offsetting on to the opposing front free endpaper. There is very slight slight spotting of the endpapers and the fore edge of the book block. In an about very good price clipped dustwrapper which has a few small probable fishmoth abrasions (please see the image).
