Livingstone, David. Missionary Travels and Researches in South Africa: Including a Sketch of Sixteen Years' Residence in the Interior of Africa, and a Journey from the Cape of Good Hope to Loanda on the West Coast; Thence Across the Continent, Down the River Zambesi, to the Eastern Ocean. 1857. ix, 687 pages, 25 unnumbered leaves of plates : illustrations, 2 folded color maps, portraits.
 
19th Century 3/4 navy leather, gilt spine lettering and decorations; raised bands; marbled-paper covered boards matching edges and endpapers. Horace N. Holbrook armorial bookplate. 
 
Very Good., minor rubbing to spine ends and points.  Clean text, tight binding, no noticeable wear to folding maps and plates. A collectible copy.

Tyler, Josiah. Livingstone Lost and Found Or Africa and its Explorers.  Published by Mutual Publishing Company, Hartford, Connecticut, 1873. Contemporary full leather, light foxing, toning  and general wear.  A good copy, less common in this style binding.
