259 pages, Colour frontispiece, numerous plates and maps, colour illustrations, 16 pages of black and white photographs, stains at the bottom of the preliminary pages, light foxing on the top edge as well as the top of the fore-edge, simulated tan leather with gilt vignette of a spear and drum on the upper cover and titled gilt on the spine, a good copy.

Czech (Dr. Kenneth) An Annotated Bibliography of African Big Game Hunting Books 1785 - 1999, page 234: Rindone hunted lion and buffalo in Kenya; nyala in South Africa; kudu in Botswana; elephant in the Caprivi Strip; roan in Angola; duiker in the Drakensberg Range; gemsbok in Namibia and elephant and lion in Cameroons. He also relates other hunting trips abroad.
