‘Bryden traveled through Bechuanaland, hunting antelope and small game, crossed the Kalahari Desert, then hunted giraffe near Lake Ngami. Upon reaching the Botletli River plains, Bryden’s group bagged zebra, wildebeest, lechwe, and other game. Recrossing the Kalahari, the expedition took trophy eland. xiv, 544 pp, photographic frontispiece, 23 plates, several illustrations in the text and a folding map. 

Original grey cloth with black titling and a vignette of a zebra’s head on the upper cover and gilt titling on spine. The spine has been repaired; original decorative endpapers inside. Internally clean. Some of the pages are still uncut. A very attractive copy.
