Scarce edition of 1585 of this work of right by the jurist from Siena (1482-1556), nephew of Mariano il Vecchio. Socino taught in the University of Pisa, Siena, and Bologna and was known to be a great lawyer. This work, his famous commentary to Decretales and Digestum Vetus, is made up of two volumes and it is complete.

Full parchment coeval cover in good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Plates are handwritten and the spine is covered with another parchment with the handwritten title in the spine. Binding in good conditions. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings. Little worming in the edges from page 37 to 103, from 214 to the end of the first tome without ruining the text, in the second tome little holes and galleries of worming in the edges of the entire volume without ruining the text, worming are particularly clear in the first 4 pages and from 176 until the end.
