Later cloth binding with gilt titling on the upper board. Later light cream coloured end papers. 156 pages, black and white illustrations. The first 16 pages are period advertisements, followed by an introduction written by Viscount Buxton, Governor-General of the Union of South Africa. The text was written by Professor George E. Cory, John Hewitt etc., followed by a further 11 pages of advertisements.

CONDITION: The original outer wrappers were not saved and are not present. The binding has a few minor marks. Aside from the first advertisement which is toned and has two rust spots from old staples, this item is still fresh and clean.
