A near very good copy of an extremely rare early history of the Eastern Cape.
There are references to the 1820 and other settlers and the editor is described as an "agent for immigration".

Spine-ends bumped and corners lightly rubbed, spine-cracks front and back, with upper hinges loose, ownership initials on the title-page, upper and lower page-edges trimmed, front edge uncut; contents, including text and frontispiece, are complete and otherwise unmarked and undiscoloured; map in particularly good condition, unmarked and undiscoloured, with a new attachment to the binding.
