An early printing of the first edition of this classic telling of Lindberg's , ‘autobiographical account of the planning and execution of the first nonstop airplane passage between the continents of America and Europe, concluding with an hour by hour account of that momentous, desperate, triumphant first flight over trackless water' (from the dustwrapper flap). A very good copy in the original blue cloth with a slightly dulled spine. Lacking the Scribner A on the copyright page. In a fair only dustwrapper which has some rubbing, fish mothing and edge chipping. Inscribed by Lindbergh on the title page 'To Victor Emanuel/With best wishes from/Charles A. Lindbergh'.
