This is a fine, possibly unread, copy of the first edition of this Greene high spot, in a fine dustwrapper. Both novellas were filmed, The Third Man being the classic 1949 Carol Reed film starring Trevor Howard, Orson Welles and Joseph Cotton and featuring the famous Harry Lime theme.
This copy is just about as good as it gets. The book itself, in the original black cloth with silver spine lettering is fine and unmarked and has none of the usual yellowing often referred to. The striking dustwrapper is unclipped and complete with only the slightest evidence of shelf rubbing of the edges.
