Three Samuel French Acting Editions in the original wraps. These are all early printings and some may be firsts. The lot comprises:
1. Murder On The Nile. 1948 on the Copyright page with no indication of later printings. The rear wrapper is blank and has some moderate stains. Apart from this, a near very good copy.
2. Murder At The Vicarage. 1950 on the Copyright page with no indication of later printings. The cast list of the production at the Playhouse Theatre, London on December 16th. 1949 is featured on a preliminary page. The rear wrapper lists 12 titles starting with Both Ends Meet and ending with Witness For the Prosecution. A very good copy.
3. The Mousetrap. 1954 on the Copyright page with no indication of later printings. The cast list of the production at the Ambassadors Theatre, London on 25th. November 1952 is featured on a preliminary page. This cast famously included Richard Attenborough. The play has broken by far all records of continuous longevity on the London stage. Samuel French copyright notice pasted on to the front wrapper. The rear wrapper lists 12 titles starting with The Diary of Anne Frank and ending with Towards Zero. Signature and number on the title page and slight wear but a near very good copy.
