Soft covers. Both copies are in near fine to fine condition. One copy has a single short closed tear at the top edge of the rear panel.
A Dassie Book. No date but 1955. 166pp. Contains a frontispiece illustration (probably done by Meintjes himself) of Grootzeekoegat, the homestead of the Meintjes family.
One of the author's earliest works. Johannes Meintjes was both a prolific author and renowned SA artist.
Two first edition copies of a very hard-to-find little book and an imperative must-have for the Meintjes collector.
