Frame of the interior covers in green morocco decorated with gilded fillets and fleurons, linings and guards in garnet silk, gilded edges, covers and spine preserved, slipcase. Binding signed Meunier.
Illustrations watercolored and reworked in gold, including 6 full-page, by Léon Lebègue.

Limited edition of 189 copies; one of 40 on vellum paper tinted on the form, from the Rives paper mills (n° XXIV), with the black print, on China paper, of all the illustrations. Each page is decorated with a figure, initial or frame by the artist.
Condition: rubbed slipcase with bumped corners, small scratches on the spine of the binding, cover slightly dusty. The whole is in very good condition.
