The owner and artist's name "A. Telfer" in beautifully illuminated manuscript initials on front paste down.
This sketchbook contains a series of 41 original sketches of which most are in colour and some in ink or pencil. Telfer appears to have spent some time at Prieska - a Northern Cape town near the Orange River.
