Signed and inscribed by BRC Barry Woan MSM, one of the compilers of the book to a fellow BSAP member: 'To Don, Thank you for your valuable support which assisted us in "Telling Our Story"'.

First edition. 535 pages: illustrations (mainly colour), portraits. Quarto. Paper covered boards, dust wrapper.

Front board has minor crease.

This book has been the work of Barry Woan and his associates for several years, all of whom have toiled to bring together stories from the many who served in the Black Boots. It presents to the reader an historical lineage from 1898 through to the Rhodesian bush war with personal experiences of the life in the very unsung branch of the force, the BSA Police Unit. Probably one of the best Regimental works to come out of the Rhodesia Bush War (Source, dust jacket inside copy)
