Special illustrated number of the "Diamond Fields Advertiser," Kimberley.

Photographs mainly supplied by Mr. F.H. Hancox, Premier Studio, Kimberley.

80 pages + 4 pages adverts, text illustrated throughout with photographs, marginal notes in pen, half leather with brown pebble grained cloth boards which are very worn, titled gilt on the upper cover, the contents are bright, a good copy.

The Special Illustrated Number contains twelve chapters describing the siege as well a numerous photographs. There are lists of Regiments and Cape Police detailing names of those serving in Kimberley during the Siege.

On the upper cover in gilt is the following Frank Henley C.M.P. D2 through Kimberley Siege. He is mentioned on page 72 – Cape Police District 1 and 2.
