109 pages, title page vignette, 4 wood engravings, quarter cream buckram with marbled cloth boards slightly soiled and rubbed, titled gilt on the spine, top edge gilt, others edges uncut with light spotting, signature on the front free endpaper and tape marks on both free endpapers, a good copy.

The colophon reads: Designed produced and published by Christopher Sandford at the Golden Cockerel Press, London and finished on the 4th day of July 1945. The edition is limited to 500 copies printed on Arnold’s mould-made paper in Blado Italic type, with Poliphilus Roman capitals. Composition and presswork under supervision of F.J. Newbery at the Chiswick Press. Compositors: G.A. Terry and B.N. Thurlow. Pressmen H. Barker. Copies numbered 1-100 are bound in ¼ white morocco numbers 101-500 in ¼ white canvas.
