Inscribed by the author, possibly to former Wits Head Librarian Rueben Musiker, and with various loosely inserted materials: pamphlet announcing publication of book, order form for book, invitation to launch of book, letter to previous owner requesting a review of book from the Wits Library, pamphlet and bookmark from the Wits Friends of the Library, and two newspaper clipping of reviews of book.
Condition: Very good. Light rubbing and creasing to covers, spot of slight soiling, slight sticker residue and spot of superficial wear to rear cover. Sunning to spine and sections of front cover. Light edgewear to top edge of front cover. Some insect wear to one of the loosely inserted materials. Text and plates are clean. Well bound.
