A perfect guide for the postcard collector on SWA, Sudwestafrika Namibia.
The author has researched and compiled a scientific list with descriptions of a large collection of historic valuable postcards which were mainly used until 1915 in German South West Africa. Useful for postcard collectors is the listing of the different publishers of postcards at that time. Here we find printers in German South West Africa as well as in Germany and elsewhere. He analysed the different topics used from the German colony and refers also to the different postage stamps used and the different Post Office cancellations from the territory. At the end of the publication is a small collection of Mr. Fudge, a South African soldier serving in the Allied Forces, depicting British postcards and their influence on the printing of postcards in general.
