A fine album of photographs by Arndt, recording his life and times: disasters (the March 1913 Great Flood in Ohio; September 1913 fire in Hot Springs, Arkansas; the wreck of a 'coal unloader' in Milwaukee; burnt out buuildings), friends (and family, both from College and the firms for which Arndt worked), colleges (Pittsburg University, University of Wisconsin, University of Chicago, Ohio State University) , professional life, vacations and outings (Niagara Falls, Columbus Auto Races in 1912, Electrical Engineers football team, powerplant at Sears, Roebuck, & Co. in Chicago, various other interior views of generating plants). Oblong folio (9 x 13 3/4in; 228 x 349mm), 42 black thick paper leaves, 28 of which are mounted with circa 247 photographs by Arndt (and others?), many with accompanying explanatory captions.
