Re-bound with dark red cloth boards and gilt rules and titling on the spine. New cream coloured end papers, but retaining original end papers. xv prelims, 305 pages, 24 black and white, mostly photographic illustrations, including frontis and a folding map at the rear. CONDITION DETAILLS: The binding is fairly recent and is fresh and clean. The new end papers are a cream colour and therefore blend in with the rest of the book. Pen name and address dated 1928 on the front free end paper. A few of the plates, now bound in well, must have been loose before the re-bind and have chipped fore edges. There are several minor signs of aging and use, but overall a decent copy.
