Czech (Dr. Kenneth) An Annotated Bibliography of African Big Game Hunting Books 1785 – 1999, page 217 -218: The scarcer of Percival's works, this is similar to his A Game Ranger's Notebook in its systematic approach to examining various species of big game in Keny Colony. There are plenty of hunting episodes after rhino, buffalo, lion and a plethora of antelope. There is also an interesting tidbit on unknown monsters near Lake Victoria and excellent chapters detailing the effect of human settlement, disease, drought and war on game animals.
