Good. Covers show edge-wear, front edge of covers show some mild browning, leading corners bumped, previous owner's name inscription and small name stamp appears on end-pages, pages lightly age-toned, some light foxing present. In general a well preserved copy of this scarce edition.

"A Guide To The Snakes Of Uganda" by Pitman, is regarded as one of the best books about African snakes ever produced. Lt Colonel C. R. S. Pitman DSO, MC (1890 - 1975) was a noted herpetologist, conservationist and Game Warden. He wrote this book after years of observation of these reptiles in East Africa. This is a very scarce item.
