Housed in a custom built slipcase by master craftsman Peter Carstens with green cloth covered boards, marbled paper and leather trim and a pictorial inset on the side.

Original dust jacket. Original pinkish red coloured boards with gilt titling on the spine. 531 pages.

CONDITION DETAILS: The dust jacket has creases, some chipping at the head and foot of the spine, closed tears and some soiling. The binding has some corner bumping. The front and rear paste downs have the ownership stamp of a book club and tape residue marks: See images.
