Part of the text of this work was gleaned from "Missionary Labours and Scenes in South Africa", but fresh information was added from letters that Moffat wrote to the Missionary Society, dealing with later events. Original green cloth bevelled boards with black decorations and gilt titling on the spine and the upper board with a gilt pictorial landscape scene. Dark brown end papers. Frontis portrait with tissue guard. viii prelims, 150 pages, followed by an illustrated catalogue of the publisher's titles.
CONDITION DETAILS: The binding has some edge wear, upper hinge cracked, lower hinge starting. There is a library label on the front paste down - see image. Pen gift inscription on front free end paper. There is some foxing and soiling, but the bulk of the text is in reasonable condition.
