Octavo (7 1/2 x 4 5/8in; 190 x 117mm). 50 hand-colored albumen prints (c. 5 1/4 x 3 5/8in; 133 x 92mm) from glass negatives (25 images of Japanese women in traditional dress and 25 topographical views of Japan). (Some fading [see images], some of the concertina joints broken) Contemporary brocaded cloth covered boards (worn, detached).
