207p. Illustrated throughout with photographs and sketches, map. Red cloth, dust jacket has slight wear to spine in a few places. Otherwise in very good condition. This edition is limited to one thousand copies, 850 bound in cloth. Eustace Abadie was a soldier with the 9th Lancers and fought at the Battle of Magersfontein as well as the relief of Kimberley. He was also on the staff of General French on the march to Pretoria.
