Account of two hunting expeditions through China and Tibet undertaken by Lt. John Weston Brooke, who was killed by Lolo robbers on December 24, 1908; Brooke started in Shanghai in August, 1906, and travelled through Western Szechuan and Eastern Tibet. The work is based on Brooke's diary, with other observations and photographs by W. N. Fergusson and C. H. Meares.
