How it works

An abridged 'sixpenny' version of Carter's account of the shipwreck.

28 pages with splendid engraved folding frontispiece, which has the legend London, pub. by T Tegg, Sept 15 - 1808 faintly stamped under the caption. A very uncommon item.

The booklet has been bound probably in early 20th century quarter calf with linen-covered boards and new endpapers on which there are two bookplates. Generally good condition.
