Original light brown buckram boards with gilt tilting on the spine and the upper board. 12 prelims, 431 pages, profusely illustrated in black and white, followed by 9 pages advertising Samworth books on firearms. CONDITION DETAILS: The frontis and title page came loose and were replaced with sticky tape. There is a closed tear in the gutter of the title page. The corners of the binding are bumped and the titling is not as clear and bright as it should be. Minor browning to end papers and a few other signs of use.
