Fine reprint of this most beautiful folio of paintings and drawings by the artist, who accompanied the expedition by Truter and Somerville to the Northern Cape in 1801.
Limited edition of 550 of which this is No 112. Good condition in half-calf with marbled boards. There is a faint damp stain along part of the bottom edge of the textblock 10cm wide by 1 cm deep, reducing every page for about ten pages. Otherwise the book is in very nice condition, slight abrasion to marbled paper covering front board - hardly noticeable.
A huge book which will attract a higher postal charge.
