This album of plastic sleeves in a lever-arch file contains extensive autograph items and photographs of World Heavyweight Boxing Champions, compiled by autograph collector Mark Rathbone. The album features champions from John L. Sullivan (Champion from 17 Feb. 1882 - 7 Sept. 1892) to George Foreman (22 Jan. 1973 - 30 Oct. 1974). Most of the items are autographed but not all. I am going to list only autographed items and further details are available on request.
1. Tommy Burns (1906- 1908) - 3 Signed Cards dated June 27, 1949. (one bears a c30 word note sending a photograph (present) and referring to his fight against Jack Johnson in 1908.
2. Jack Dempsey (1919 - 1926) - 2 Signed cards.
3. Gene Tunney (1926 - 1928). 2 Signed Cards and one signed Ring Magazine Cover (November 1971).
4. Max Schmeling (1930 - 1932). Signed card.
5. Jack Sharkey (1932 - 1933). Signed colour promotional photograph.
6. Arturo Godoy (Fought Joe Loius twice). Signed card.
7. Joe Louis (1937 - 1949). Signed card and Signed World Boxing Revue (December 20, 1948).
8. Ezzard Charles (1949 - 1951), Signed card, Signed Ring Magazine Cover (December 1950) and Signed large promotional photograph).
9. Jersey Joe Walcott (1951 - 1952). Signed card and Signed large promotional photograph.10. Floyd Patterson (1956 - 1959). Signed large promotional photograph and Signed Ring Magazine cover.

11. Joe Bugner. Signed note on card "It is nice to know I have some fans even as far away as South Africa".
12. George Foreman (1973 - 1974). Signed typed letter signed to Rathbone, Signed Ring Magazine Cover, (January 1973) and 2 Signed cards.
In all 25 signed items. Together with many original photographs including several of Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali fights etc. and some photocopies. I have supplied images of many (but not all) of the pages which illustrate the nature of the album and am happy to respond to any queries.
All in very good condition. An unusual and impressive collection.
