136 images – 17 coloured (1 loose) – about half are by Knudsen. The photographs are of various locations including Stavanger,Ryfylke, Hardanger, Vossevangen, Bergen, Gudvangen, Romsdal, Trondheim, Hammerfest and others.
Contained in a large ablum bound in half brown leather with maroon cloth sides. The photographs are mounted on thick card leaves which bound in on linen hinges, all edges gilt. The leather is slightly worn along the edges and there are some stains on the upper cover but overall the album and the photographs are in very good condition.
The ownership signature M.A. van Breda, 1905 appears on the front free endpaper. Presumed to be an album compiled after a holiday tour of Norway.
