This extract is bound in an early twentieth century binding with cloth and marbled paper. Cream coloured end papers.

Extracted from volume 4 of Awnsham Churchill's "A Collection of Voyages and Travels Some Now First Printed from Original Manuscripts Others Translated Out of Foreign Languages, and Now First Published in English" first published in 1704-07. The William ten Rhyne chapter is found bound separately in some South African Africana collections.

Here the pagination begins at 829 and ends at page 846, of which 17 pages complete the Ten Rhyne chapter. (The last page begins an entry by Captain Bolland.)

CONDITION: Overall, clean and attratcive. Three hundred years later, the text pages show very little discolouration.
