This book was an eve-of-Boer War appeal to England and the English to stop the coming conflict. Scarce in the first edition. A hardcover in the original decorated paper boards with a portrait of Kruger on the front board. 96 pages.
A very good copy in the original boards which are used and edge rubbed with some soiling and small stains. The edges have some spotting but internally the book is clean and unfoxed apart from offsetting to both front and rear free endpapers. There is a neat signature and rubber ownership stamp at the top of the front free endpaper. A better than average copy of a book that is usually heavily worn.
