22 sepia toned photographs depicting various scenes in Cape Town and Green Point during the Boer War. They have hand written captions and most have no dates. In the bottom right hand corner - MR Photo

17 photographs are 100 x160mm pasted down in a full brown leather bound album – 170 x 250mm. The leather of the album is very worn. 5 photographs are 90 x130mm and pasted down with 2 photographs on a sheet. 3 of the 4 brass corners are still extant, the top one on the front cover is missing. The album has inner gilt dentelles and is only a quarter full. The photographs are in good condition – there is light foxing on the edges of the sheets.
