First edition: 498 pages + 30 pages publisher's index, 5 engraved plates, numerous line drawings in the text, original brown cloth stamped with a blind pattern and gilt vignette on the covers, titled gilt on the spine which has been simply repaired at the top and the bottom, uncut fore-edge, corners bumped, a good copy.
