196 pages, engraved title page, 6 engraved plates with 28 figures of planting, grafting and topiary, full vellum, ties missing, several notes and inscriptions on the front paste-down endpaper, embossed bookplate on the verso of the free endpaper, text of both volumes heavily browned throughout with the exception of the 23 plates of garden tools etc.

Hunt, 219 and 221. The publication dates are taken from the dedications. These two works are often found bound together.
