Keulemans, other illustrations in the text, half maroon morocco with matching cloth sides by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, titled gilt on the spines, top edges gilt other edges uncut, bookplate of C.S. Barlow on the front paste-down endpaper, cancelled library stamps of the Radcliffe Library, Oxford on the title pages, a fine set.

The Edition of this work being strictly to 200 copies for Subscribers, each copy is numbered and signed by the authors.

The first volume contains an account of the Passeres of the Argentine Republic, which, as at present known, number some 229 species. The second volumes contains an account of all the Orders of Birds met with within the Argentine Republic except the Passeres, It also comprises an Appendix and Index. Prefaces to the 2 volumes.
