First Edition, hardcover Quarto, bound in dark-blue cloth covered boards and has160 pages, text in French.

Gilt titles on the front board and to the spine. The jacket is in fair condition, some rubbing/tears can be seen along the edges.

Head/heal and corners are also bumped and rubbed, decorative front/back pastedowns and endpapers.

Black and white illustrations throughout, the book consists of 52 figures, 78 photos, 23 plates, and elements of astronomy, movement and nature of the moon, atlas, elements of astronautics, and the journey to the moon.
