Title page; Contents; Index to Companies, Farms and Districts; Index to Farms of the Witwatersrand District; 42 fine full page coloured maps, half dark brown leather with light brown cloth sides, title in gilt on the upper cover and along the spine – there is some loss (9cms) of the leather at the top of the spine which does not affect the titling, corners bumped and worn, marbled endpapers with some small holes caused by insects, the front free endpaper is similarly affected, there are two small holes (1cm) in the margin of Map 3, otherwise the maps are in fine condition, overall a very good copy.
