A comprehensive work on the language, folklore, social organization and customs of the Bantu.

Based on a series of lectures for senior (white) mine staff (the mining industry being a major employer of Bantu [black] labour) covering races, tribes, languages, folklore, music social organisation, etiquette etc. and intended to make whites aware of and sympathetic to black culture. Scarce copy with an even more scarce four page Hortons flyer announcing the imminent publication of the work.
