CONDITION DETAILS: The gilt on the spine is a bit faded and there is some light wear. The free end papers are browned. Browning and foxing on other pages is mild. There is a bit of spotting on the page edges. There is a small indentation on the upper board which has caused a few small tears to the front paste down. The pen gift inscription - see image - is either a flaw or a nice association - its provenance for the buyer to work out.
